I have been making things for literally as long as I can remember. From hauling ambitious papier mache animals home from art club to fashioning specialist electronics for the science department as a technician, I always find a way to get my hands on a lil project. In 2022 I took a hand-building class at Eastleigh college to break up the mundanity of the work week, and have been working with clay ever since.

Although my background is in physics, my creative process is instinctive, curious and quite honestly lawless compared to the rigour of the laboratory. Without a wheel, I am a devout hand-builder, using techniques that have outlasted entire civilisations. While I make useful, functional pieces, I am captivated by my intent to imbue them with fragments of forgotten history and folklore, drawing inspiration from both the unusual and the unassuming. My work lives in a world of fable, perilously overgrown gardens, and strange little creatures. I am very excited to share this world, and I hope it enchants you as much as it has me !
